Watching the early morning surfers at sunrise with a coffee from Porch and Parlour in North Bondi. Then refuelling with brekkie at The Good One before hitting the Bondi markets. Then heading to Gould Street for a bit of retail therapy!

AMY SHARP’S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A CITY STAYCATION

Eat – Enjoy the food in The Thievery. Five minutes away from The Loft!
Boutique shopping – Urban Oasis
Date night – Foundry616 is a funky little jazz bar.
Favourite thing to do: Cruise around the harbour and finish with a few beers Quarrymans Hotel.
Weekends look a little bit like this: Explore the local area, have a long lunch at the Boathouse on Blackwattle Bay. Catch a show at the lyrical theater, finish off with some roulette, cocktails and Gelato Messina. Spend Sunday on a leisurely walk along the Glebe foreshore, past Jubilee park and on to the Tramsheds for the Sunday farmers market. Grab a coffee and watch the rowers. Spend the afternoon picking up some delicious seafood at the fish markets for dinner.

SOPHIA’S FAVOURITE COASTAL ESCAPE TO THE CENTRAL COAST
Stay – There’s so many great Airbnbs on the Central Coast for all group sizes. I always need a pet-friendly one and there are so many cute ones to choose from! I recommend booking in advance if you want to take your furry friend with you.
Eat – The Glass Onion Society in Long Jetty for a breaky. Bells at Killcare if you want to treat yourself to a nice lunch/dinner.
Shopping – Long Jetty has some cool boutiques to have a browse in.
Favourite Beach – Copa or Shelley Beach
Favourite thing to do: Spending the whole day at the beach with friends, swimming and having a nice cold beer.
Weekends look a little bit like this: Wake up and head to Long Jetty for a coffee and breaky. Modern Organic is another one of my favourites for a healthy start to the day. Pack an esky and head straight to the beach (Shelley or Copa) with the puppy and friends. Head back to the Airbnb to make cocktails, have a barbie and relax in the jacuzzi. What more can you want!

GEORGIA’S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A WEEKEND AROUND THE EASTERN BEACHES
Stay – One of L’Abode’s beautiful properties around the eastern beaches. Penthouse Bream has beautiful views and is in walking distance to everything Coogee has to offer!
Eat – Uyen Vietnamese Restaurant is a family run authentic Vietnamese Restaurant. Delicious!
Homeware shopping – LivedIn Coogee
Fashion shopping – Black Boho in South Coogee. They also have some great homewares!
Date night – Have a coctail at Will’s, the new mid-level bar in Coogee Pavilion. Then head to Sugarcane for a delicious South Asian inspired meal. Have the ‘Trust Me’ dinner to try most of the menu.
Favourite thing to do: Early morning whale watching with a coffee and a treat. You can do this at any headland, but my favourite place to watch whales is at Cape Banks, down towards La Perouse.
Weekends look a little bit like this: Go for a morning coffee and to pick up some fresh bread from The Grumpy Baker or Harris Farm. Then head out to Cape Banks to spot some whales. Make the most of your time around this area and have a swim in the crystal clear water at Congwong Beach. Have a brunch or lunch, with a sneaky cocktail at The Boatshed La Perouse and then head home to relax for the afternoon before a night out of delicious food and cocktails.
