- Most technically advanced sky – Sydney has the largest New Year’s Even Fireworks display in the world with more than 1.5 million people gathering every year to watch it.
- Free health care – Visiting from overseas and bitten by a shark – do not fear. The Australian hospital will treat you for free. Seriously though, a shark bite is extremely unlikely.
- Very minimal occurrences of natural disasters – earthquakes, flooding, tsunamis, etc.
- Some of the world’s best food – from fine dining, to Asian street food to pub grub. Great food is EVERYWHERE is Sydney.
- Airport in close proximity to the CBD – plenty of major cities have their main airport slightly out the city, meaning a long (and expensive) taxi ride. In Sydney the International Airport is just 15 minutes by car from the CBD.
- Approximately 30,000 trees of more than 120 species line the streets of Sydney, making the city look beautiful while removing carbon dioxide and providing much needed shade.
- Beaches by the plenty – with around 100 beaches in Sydney, you are never far from the water from a swim, surf or a splash.
- An awesome public transport network – Often driving in a new city is daunting, in Sydney there is no need. The public transport system is world class.
